I've eaten here 6 or so times in the past couple weeks while installing their new touch screen point of sale system and haven't had a bad meal yet. The BLT & the Reuben were classically good. Straight to the point, excellent taste, could eat every day type good. I rarely eat the same thing twice but I've already made an exception here. The turkey club was awesome too.

Right down the street from my old stomping grounds on the edge of Lowell and a nice respite from the bustle of the city proper. Boomers definitely has the feel of a typical townie restaurant/bar by sight yet has a draw that caters to the aspects of what anyone would look for in any such establishment.
Liiiiike:
1. Great parking
2. Outdoor patio dining
3. Huge bar with plenty of seating
4. Huge screen TV for the sports fan
5. Games (like that basketball thing you find in sports bars)
6. Keno (I did say townie didn't I?)
7. Brunswick bowling alley next door (optional, but who doesn't love drunk bowling...)
8. Location (semi-rural, there is beautiful historical park walking path along the river nearby as well as a....Bowling Alley!)
Aaand:
The restaurant itself is segmented from the bar. A hostess greets you and a waitress seats you. The menu is not extensive but has all your standard, favorite reasonably-priced all-american selections (bacon cheddar burgers, steaks, chicken etc). It's good food prepared by experienced line-cooks who know what they're doing. The portions are robust and served with a rain-down of quality fries and/or onion rings---(#2 on my guilty pleasure list next to chocolate). They also serve homemade all american dishes...think Thanksgiving. In fact, GO there on Thanksgiving because they're open!
